CM-40 – AUTOMATIC CARBIDE CHAMFERING MACHINE FOR CARBIDE AND HSS RODS AND BARS

The CM40 has been designed as a tool machine to automatically chamfer carbide and HSS cylinders and rods. It was studied to carry out both small production and big quantities ones, thanks to the simple and rapid programming. It covers the range of diameters from ø 3 mm to ø 20 mm on a minimum length of 30 mm and a maximum one of 150 mm. The chamfering machine is completely managed by a numerical control.

Its main features are the rigidity of the structure, the possibility to make three different types of chamfers at 30°, 45° and 60° already set up on the chamfering machine.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  • Chamfering machine protected by structure with plexiglass panels and doors for working area access, controlled by a security micron.
  • Painted with a special anticorrosive and epoxy treatment grey RAL 7043 and RAL 7035.
  • Coloured CNC touch screen 10" which manages the entire chamfering machine, all safety devices and all the chamfering machine axles: collet rotation, grinding wheel rotation, longitudinal and transversal advancement grinding wheel axle.
  • Ethernet and USB connections.
  • Safety systems according to CE rules.
  • Manual emergency push-button.
  • Time for change the format: 30 seconds for set-up.
  • Time for change the inclination of the diamond wheel head: 90 seconds. 
  • Self-centering inclined warehouse with system to single piece withdrawal. 
  • Possibility to manual loading for single rod or bar.
  • Automatic system for collet rotation variation. 
  • ER 40 collet hold with automatic locking.
  • Collets with diameters pitch 1 mm.
  • Change collet lockring with fast unlocking.
  • Automatic speed system for diamond grinding wheel variation.
  • Transducer to check diamond grinding wheel diameter.
  • Automatic unloading system for finished pieces, on inclined plane for accumulation. 
  • Aspirator group located inside the machine, with internal filters. 

OPTIONAL DEVICES
